The Great Lakes Football League
Founded: 2004
The purpose of the GLYFL is to furnish all youth of designated age and weight limitation that are not members of other organized squads, i.e. junior high, CYO, etc., the opportunity to play football under proper supervision and safety precautions, As well as provide an opportunity for the youth of our member organizations to participate in an organized football program for moral, emotional, and academic growth.
Our Member organizations are not permitted to sponsor any teams or organized squads in any other league or other organized football program. Member organizations must place all of their team’s members in the GLYFL to ensure equal distribution of talent and ability, in furtherance of fair competition among teams in all member organizations.
